Dr. Kathleen Contreras is a bilingual teacher educator teaching at California State University, Channel Islands in the School of Education and the Chicano Studies Department. She earned her B.A. and bilingual teaching credential at UCLA, a Master’s in Bilingual Education at UCSB, and a PhD in Urban Schooling & Teacher Education from UCLA.
